• Truck drivers travelling in the Doncaster traffic area of South Yorkshire Police should be aware that the division is concentrating on goods and passenger vehicle enforcement over the next two months.
The crackdown will centre on the Al, A 1(M), M18 and M180. Part of the aim is to show that
everyone driving in the Doncaster area have to comply with the drivers hours and vehicle maintenance regulations.
The "Garage Project" will involve static checks and patrols with the Vehicle Inspectorate, the North Eastern Traffic Area, Customs & Excise, the DSS and the DVLA.
