The Work at Height Regulations 2005. CIF 6 April 2005 These regulations consolidate health and safety best practice by imposing duties in relation to working at height.
The Passenger and Goods Vehicles (Recording Equipment) (Tachograph Card Fees) Regulations 2005. CIF 1 June 2005 These regulations set the fees for the issue of digital tachograph smart cards to drivers and companies at 138 for application and £19 for replacement or renewal.
Road Transport (Working Time) Regulations 2005. CIF 4 April 2005 These regulations implement the EU Directive that applies specific rules on working time to drivers and crew of vehicle operations subject to tachograph regulations. These include a 48-hour average week; a 60-hour weekly cap; a 10-hour limit for night workers and breaks from work. It also applies the EU rules on daily and weekly rest for all in-scope workers.
The Information and Consultation of Employees Regulations 2004. CIF 6 April 2005, 2007 & 2008 Implement the EU directive giving employees the right to be informed and consulted about the business. They apply to companies with 150 or more employees from 6 April 2005; 100 or more from 2007 and 50 or more from 2008.
