• Prestons of Potto is to appoint a transport consultar early next year to find poter European partners, probably Belgium or the Netherlands.
General manager Bryan Johnson says Prestons has already talked with its customers about their plans Europe and 1992, and he is looking at the best way to h them with those plans. "We may appear a little late in turning to Europe," he says "but our attention over the past 12 months has been fir on BS 5750."
LI Prestons has just complt a two-and-a-half year £3.5 million investment progranu which has included the acquisition of 30 trucks, 60 trailers (including the company's first rear-steer heavy haulage trailers) and extra warehousing, office si and hard standing at the Po and St Neots depots.
