Fox and Kinch have been in )mpetition since 1986, with le independent carrying over vo million passengers. Kinch ported Fox to the Office of air Trading when Fox attackI all of Kinch's commercial mtes from April, this year. he OFT has reported both ampanies to the Restrictive ractices Court for making an nregistered agreement in 987, but made no ruling on Ire cutting and duplication. Fox has taken over 25 buses ad is temporarily using part of inch's base at Barrow-onoar. It is running the two eicester services and Lough borough Town routes, but plans to dergister most.
Kinch is left with his coach business and Access Bus contract, and will continue running contracts. This takeover fol
lows the purchase of Wreake Valley, County Travel (buses), AstiIL & Jordan, Fairtax, Countryhopper, and Shelton Orsborn by Midland Fox in the past two years.
