• Roger Mills, the man behind livestock shipments through the Essex port of Brightlingsea, has been found guilty of failing to keep sheep in proper conditions.
Lowestoft magistrates fined Mills, of Charnwood, Suffolk £750 with £750 costs after pleading not guilty to three charges following allegations brought by the RSPCA.
However, he was cleared of charges of causing unnecessary suffering and not having access to welfare codes.
