TDG SON, the heavy loads division of TDG, has clinched a 126.4m deal with Benelux prefabconcrete producer Betonson to handle its inbound logistics.
The two companies have worked together for 50 years and the deal will add inbound logistias — including project planning orders, customer service issues and preloading of trailers — to the existing contract for outbound goods.
Betonson logistics manager Rod van Fert says it is part of a move to cut costs by re-organising the supply chain.
Tijmen Muijs, the managing director ofTDG Benelux, adds:"It will give Betonson the security of having a devoted logistics partner for the coming years and will give TDG Son a solid base to develop for the future.
