• Professional drivers are one of the angriest and least satisfied group of workers in the UK. They made 4% of all calls to the TUC's hotline dedicated to exposing Britain's worst bosses, in one of the largest responses by any group of workers in the. country.
Drivers' main complaint against their bosses was being asked to work gruelling hours for little pay. Overall, the hotline received 4,950 calls during its week of operation from angry and anxious workers of all employment sectors.
The TUC says that more callers rang about bullying than any other issue: 75% of them work in small or medium-sized firms with fewer than 1000 employees.
Low pay, long hours and lack of paid holidays were also common problems. The TUC plans further reports on the worst industries and threatens to "name and shame" the UK's worst bosses.
