• From next summer every driving licences issued by DVLA will include a picture of the owner. New drivers, and anyone applying for a change of licence, will receive one of the EU compatible credit card-style licences. They are designed to prevent driving test fraud and will be recognised by police forces throughout the EU. Existing drivers can keep their old paper licences but if they change address they will receive new-style licences and a holder showing all the different driving categories. It will cost £21.
