TWO BRITISH truckers have been gassed and robbed while sleeping in a service area in Spain.
Wilf Kilvington and Ian Carter work for removals firm Britannia. They were double-manning when they stopped at services in Valencia. Their cab was broken into while they were asleep and two wallets containing more than £400 and a mobile phone were stolen.
Kilvington says this is the first time he has experienced anything like this: "We must have been gassed because we are both light sleepers and usually wake up at the slightest noise but didn't realise what had happened until the morning. It's frightening that someone has been in the cab with you we had a lucky escape.
