• Dutch public transport authorities are experimenting with buses running on natural gas in Rotterdam, The Hague and Groningen over the next 18 months. They are identified by a butterfly symbol. The engines in the test vehicles were converted to natural gas operation by Daf and TN°. Compared with diesel engines, emissions of nitrous oxides are 90% lower, and the carbon monoxide emission is 25 times smaller. If the test is successful, the authorities will develop a standardised environmental bus.
1:11 Dais SB220LT bus chassis is to be made available with the firm's low-emission engine.
