A SERIES OF FREE seminars designed to help operators reduce costs and maximise their profits are taking place around the country this month following a successful run last year.
The one-day Freight Best Practice events will outline the benefits of measures in areas such as fuel economy, skills development, operational efficiency, equipment and systems and performance management.
Ron Cooke, national road transport manager of rail logistics firm Freightliner, attended last year. He reports: "It was a very useful day indeed. I would recommend anyone within the transport industry to attend."
Jonathan James, director
of the Freight Best Practice programme, says: "Last year's events proved to be so success
ful and we achieved such positive feedback that I'm delighted to announce we're running another series this year."
The seminars will be held in Durham, Nottingham, Bristol, Heathrow and Coventry.
