SIZEABLE haulage bids are listed in two areas this week-Scottish (South) and Eastern. In the first, Duncan Barbour and Son Ltd. of Glasgow are seeking to add 10 artics totalling 100 tons on A licence, while in the Eastern area A. Stimpson and Son Ltd., Norwich is asking to switch 13 vehicles from B to A licence.
There are also two six-vehicle applications, one by Potteries Associated Transport which wants new B-licensed tippers in the West Midland area, and one by Wineanton Transport and Engineering Ltd. in the Western area for vehicles totalling 53 tons 14 cwt.
