• 20% are battery-related • 11% can be attributed to tyres/wheel changes • 4% are due to road traffic accidents • The main sources of winter breakdowns are: punctures batteries (increased demand on electrical system) alternator (increased load on electrical system) road traffic accidents (poor driving conditions) clutches (driving in snow and ice)
