SCANIAS NEW HIGH-roof P Senes with its new Euro-5 engine was unveiled in AmsterdamP The Highline P Series enables Scania to compete in the ultra-competitive fleet Sector against the likes of Oaf's CF85 Series now available inSpacecab format — and the high-roof Mercedes Axor. The new Euro-5 engine line-up from Scania 6onsists of 9.3 and 12.7-litre engines rated at 230-480hp. All engines are equipped with Scania's XPI high-pressure injection systems that was developed jointly with (ummins; they make use of EGA technology to reduce engine emissions. The high-torque engines now offer extended maintenance intervals of up to 90,000km or maximum-weight operations.
