Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Widespread Adoption of the C.M.U.A. Official Pattern.

The earliest references to the C.M.TJ.A, first-aid outfit appeared in THE COMMERCIAL MOTOR several months ago. A limited number of these well-stocked and compact japanned cases was put on order, with the sanction of the General Committee of the C.M.U.A., as an experiment. Our anticipations that this initial stock would quickly be absorbed by members has been fulfilled, and the Secretary of the Association, Mr. F. G. Bristow, who can be addressed at 83, Pall Mall, S.W., has now made arrangements to deal with further orders.

The special C.M.U.A. first-aid outfit has been designed with the assistance of medical practitioners, first-aid-outfit manufacturers, and gentlemen responsible for the running of fleets of commercial motors. It comprises a stout, black, japanned tin case, with separate bottle sections. It measures only 94 ins. by 64 ins. by 4 ins., yet the following contents are included: 2 oz. absorbent wool ; aluminium water bath ; aluminium eye bath ; 1 oz. ammonia ; 3 oz. antiseptic ; one Esmarck bandage ; five roller bandages ; 2 oz. boric lint ; 6 oz. carron oil ; camel-hair brush ; eye shade; finger stalls ; one tin assorted pins ; one tin of 1 in. plaster ; 1 oz. sal volatile ; scissors ; splinter forceps ; sponge ; tincture of iodine ; graduated tumbler.

Well-considered and individual instructions are given with regard to the use of any portion of the outfit, and possibly the greatest attraction of all is the low price at which the C.M.U.A., by reason of large Orders which it has placed, is able to offer the complete outfit to its members. The price to members; carriage forward, or on delivery. if collected from the

C.M.U.A. offices in London, is 15s. per set. As orders can only be executed in rotation, notwithstanding the larger number which has now been put in hand, it will probably be to the advantage of any reader to send in his instructions and remittance without delay. The accompanying illustration correctly depicts the outfit to which we have referred. Those who do not belong to the C.M.U.A. cannot be supplied, unless the Association decides to issue a limited number, at an enhanced price, outside its ranks.
