• Allisons Freightlines' Dundee staff-38 drivers, 16 mechanics and four office staff—have been given three days' notice. Another 38 drivers plus eight mechanics and five office staff in Leslie, Fife, are also affected. One paragraph in tile redundancy notice states: "Payment of any balance of net wages, accrued holiday remuneration or payment in lieu of notice which may be due will be made when funds become available."
AF, which is a subsidiary of Amalgamated Transport Services, last month (CM September 10), applied for the appointment of a provisional liquidator.
