Sir Alex Samuels, chair. man of the movement repre. senting industry, employers and motoring organizations, has writ-ten to Mr Shore emphasizing the need for adequate physical facilities for prospective employers in the area. In his letter, Sir Alex endorsed the specific proposals for new road investment made by the Docklands Joint Committee, but he expressed the movement's "regret and surprise" at the postponement of the South Woodford to Barking relief road.
