Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The London 2012 Olympics will all be over in just three years, but before that, there will be a huge number of challenges for the road transport industry.

By R oqer Brown THERE IS NO DOUBT that the London 2012 Olympics will offer a boost for the road transport industry in terms of increased business. After all, food, drink and clothing for athletes, officials and fans will have to be delivered.

But how the route restrictions on London's roads during the 60 days of the Games will affect daytime access to shops for delivery drivers, or disrupt other services, has yet to be identified.

The exact dates were unclear as CM went to press, but that 60-day period will likely run from midJuly until September, taking in the Olympic Games on 27 July-12 August and the Paralympic Games on 29 August-9 September.

Last month, the Department for Transport issued a list of 232 sections of roads across the capital (see map for details) the Olympic Route Network that will be affected. These roads will give athletes, officials and the media priority at certain times.

Also, according to the Olympic Delivery Authority, a series of 'Olympic lanes' will be created on the off-side section of some dual carriageways along the route.
