The tramways committee of the Wallasey Corporation has recommended the purchase of 12 six-wheeled double-deck motorbuses at a cost of £25,000. A special meeting has been convened for the purpose of considering this recommendation, so that delivery of the new vehicles may be secured by April 1st, when Moreton comes into the borough. It is expected that a motor ser vice between Wallasey and Moreton will be instituted, but
in all probability the new vehicles will be brought into use on the Seabank route, between Seacombe and New Brighton, at first supplementing the tramways and eventually supplanting them.
