Bryant, who is about to start his seventh year of captivity, has "had enough and can't go on", says his father Peter.
Bryant is serving a 10year sentence in Rabat after being caught leaving the country with cannabis resin hidden among a load of frozen squid.
Despite losing an appeal and haying his sentence increased, Bryant has always maintained his innocence and has been kept going by hopes of his release.
However, his recent appeal to the United Nations was rejected and now his supporters fear he has lost the will to go on.
