THOSE INVOLVED in selling vans were last week badgering Chancellor Alistair Darling to do more to cut the price of fuel, Duncan Coleman, the manager of website VansUnited (www. vansunitedco.uk), says more help is necessary because 4.1 million small firms around the country rely on commercial vans.
He adds that commercial van drivers are worth more than £25bn to the UK economy, and that the UK has the highest fuel tax in Europe.
