November 2007Driver Graham Bell received a suspended three-month jail sentence and was electronically tagged for six months after he pleaded guilty to eight offences of falsifying tachograph records in order to work longer hours.
Ill February 2008A 10-year ban on holding an 0-licence was the penalty for Scottish-based James Murdoch Junior, trading as J&J Murdoch, after he produced tacho records for only 11 of his 19 vehicles. These showed missing mileage, drivers' hours infringements and excess speed.
Ill March 2008Glasgow operator Saeed Mohammed, trading as 786 Apollo Foods, had his seven-vehicle licence suspended for 10 days after he confessed he had been too busy to produce tachograph records.
