• A year-Long experimen tal lorry ban through King's Lynn, Norfolk will start next March, forcing trucks heading for the port to make an 11 -mile detour. The ban on all trucks of 7.5 tonnes or above starts at the level crossing on John Kennedy Road between North Street and Lake Road. HGVs bound for King's Lynn Port and northern industrial estates will be diverted via the A148/A1078 Grimston Road. Trucks needing access to the town centre will be forced to use the Al 48 London Road. D A lorry ban on the A51 at Hopwas between Lichfield and Tamworth, Staffs begins next Spring. Trucks over 7.5 tonnes will be diverted along the B5404 and the A5 Tamworth Bypass.
