FOLLOWING the announcement last month that cases of vandalism on Edinburgh's buses would be dealt with by the Sheriff Court — where heavier penalties can be imposed — some success seems to have been achieved, Cur Ian Cramond, chairman of the transport committee, said last week that the public had responded well to appeals to give crews assistance.
