FREE TRAVEL for elderly bus passengers in London is to be extended from Monday, the Greater London Council has announced. Pensioners already have free travel facilities inside the GLC's own area and the new move extends the concession on certain London Transport and London Country bus routes which serve places, mostly hospitals, regularly visited by old people. At present there are low fare provisions on those routes.
