AN INTERNAL ferry service is planned between Kirkwall. Westray and Scalloway in Shetland, twice weekly to begin work in time for this year's tourist season.
Operators of the proposed service would be Wide Firth Ferry which is finalising the finance.
The service will link from Shetland via existing ferries to the Faroes and Norway giving a through route from Scotland to these destinations.
