Based in Bourton-onthe-Water. Peter Gilder Commercials joins forces with Tanker Solutions of Peterborough and East West Heavy Haulage of Beattock to provide a full range of Tirsan products with service and spares back-up. The appointment reinforces the Turkish trailer manufacturer's decision to use Halifax-based KassTal Trailers as its UK and Ireland business hub for all Kassbohrer and Talsonbadged products. Trailers are assembled at its factory in Goch, Germany, before being made road-ready for clients in the UK and Ireland.
Situated alongside the old Fosse Way near Bourton, Peter Gilder Services will provide full customer support from a new workshop, due for completion next month.
Managed by Peter Gilder's senior vehicle technician, Steve Cook, the Peter Gilder service centre has four full-sized trailer bays with state-of-the-art inspection and repair facilities. Alongside them is a split-level spares and administrative block.
Gilder has already been selling the Tirsan range; it recently supplied a batch of fouraxle semi-low-loaders to an Irish client who has ordered 10 more for 2007 sales stock.
