Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

DUTCH MEP COR1EN Wortmann-Kool has expressed her support for a proposed truckstop on the A55 in North Wales.

Wortmann-Kool and Danish MEP Anne Jensen, who sit on the European Parliament's Transport and Tourism Committee, have been instrumental in highlighting the need for secure truck parking in Europe ('EU to fund secure truckstops', CM 20 December).

Dai Owen, director ofJD Owen Transport and the brains behind the Euroroute Secure Truck Park and Enterprise Park planned for Flintshire, wrote to the MEPs after reading that they were behind a European pilot project to build secure truckstops.

Wort ma n n -Kool has invited Owen to visit her in Brussels to discuss the plan, which he says has been received positively by her.

"We submitted the plans in July and we're still waiting for a decision, but hopefully such high-profile support will help our cause."
