Exhaust ball valves recommended for use on systems using compressed air and non-toxic gases are marketed by Dyna-Quip Ltd and can be used to protect pneumatic equipment by exhausting locked-in residual pressure.
An exhaust slot milled in the ball is lined up with the system downstream when the handle is in the exhaust position and connects with an exhaust port in the underside of the centreswing-away section of the valve, Made by: Dyne-Quip Ltd, Shipston-on-Stour, Warwickshire, England.
