"Within that we own and maintain most on contract hire," says Burns, who adds that the contract-hire operation "is profitable.. .a 3-4% return on turnover with 3, 4 and 5% on equity capitol. The total business is good and coming along really very well" On the future of the contract-hire arm Burns says: "Our objective is to return 6-7% of turnover pre-tax, and 18% equity after tax.
