Pair of operators are forced into liquidation

EUROPEAN COMMERCIAL Freight, a 12-vehicle international operator in Hull, has gone into liquidation following a creditors' meeting earlier this month.
According to a statement of affairs, which was filed at Companies House by liquidators Jonathan Philmore and William Duncan of RSM Tenon, the company had a total deficiency of £480,613.
Trade and expense creditors are owed £143,000, with HM Revenue SE Customs owed a further £126,000. It went into liquidation on 5 January.
Milton Keynes operator Harris Logistics has also gone under via a similar route.
The business appointed Timothy Dolder and Gareth Roberts of Tenon Recovery on 6 January.
The statement of affairs reveals a total deficiency of £139,608 at the five-truck haulier.
