New Castrol Plants which Simplify the Dispensing of Grease and Oil APIECE of lubrication equipment of particular interest In fleet owners is the new plant being marketed by C. C. Wakefield and Co., Ltd., Wakefield House, :30 and 32, Cheapside. London, E.C.2. Known as the Castrol Commodore, the outfit is designed to dispense grease and gear oil direct from the kegs in which they are delivered. The delivery pumps are housed in cabinets, one at each end of the plant. Provision is made in these cabinets for supplies of penetrating oil.
Grease is dispensed from an overhead centre arm and the gear and penetrating oils from reeling hoses. The hose towers are equipped with Castrol precision meters, which form an accurate check on the quantity of lubricant delivered. Included in the accessories are lift controlvalves, and air and water hoses_ The price complete is £312 12s. 6d.
In addition to the Commodore, two smaller batteries, based on the same design, are available. These are known as the Castro' Captain, made up of the de luxe Model A battery and the 1-1T3, and the Castrol Commander, which consists of a de luxe Model A. The respective prices are £274 and £195. A model which is now being planned is the Castro! Cadet which, when ready, will be marketed at £125.
