Operation Indicate have made two arrests during a crackdown on organised truck crime in the West Midlands.
About £65,000 worth of property stolen during truck thefts in Devon and Cornwall police area was recovered after officers raided sites in Cradle), Heath, West Midlands following a tip-off. PC Andy Round says: "The property that was taken included industrial power tools and a quantity of Class-A drugs. There have been two arrests as a result of this operation.
"It again highlights Operation Indicate's continuing commitment to tackling HG V crime on a regional basis. THIEVES STOLE thousands of pounds worth of jeans from a truck parked overnight in Leicestershire, between ilpm on 5July and 4am on 6 July on the southbound A42 near Long Whatton.
The jeans bear the label 'Vintage' with the words 'Urban Spirit' on the rear badge.
