• Ryder Truck Rental has opened a new branch in Greenwich, South East London. At 43-47 Greenwich High Road, SE10 (phone 01-692 2360), it incorporates a 625m2 workshop with 20-tonne pillar lift, rolling road brake tester and a 21-metre vehicle wash bay.
Ryder says the new site offers everything from a carderived van to 38-tonne tractive units, with variations including tail-lifts, dropsides, refrigerated boxes and curtain-siders. It is also offering the 'One-way' hire service from Greenwich.
