• Two senior managers at Langdon Industries facing charges of conspiring to make false tachograph entries are set to go to trial at Swindon Crown Court.
Following committal proceedings by West Wiltshire magistrates, the case against operations director Christopher Murt and traffic operator Rupert RyaII will be heard at Swindon on 3 May. Tauntonbased Langdon is a refrigerated and general haulier.
The two managers, along with 12 drivers who are charged with the same offences, will be expected to enter their plea on 3 May. Eight other men who have been charged with making false entries on a record sheet will appear at Swindon at the same time.
