in In the first major change to the range since its 1999 launch, Suzuki has introduced a Dropside version of the Carry. With a total length of just 3.7m it has a GVW of 1,450kg, giving a gross payload of 665kg. The flat load floor is 1,975mm long and 1.410mm wide.
The Carry Dropside is powered by the same 1.3-litre, 16valve, 77hp petrol engine as the van and it features the same impressive specification, including a driver's airbag. electrohydraulic power steering, cloth trim, tinted glass, halogen headlamps and a radio-cassette.
The Carry Dropside costs £6,1395 (ex-VAT): it is backed by a 140-strong UK dealer network and a three-year/60,000-mile
warranty and roadside assistance.
