What possible reason could a grown company have for wrapping a giant pink ribbon around its head office? A very good one as it happens. Interlink Express was showing its support big time for the current Breast Cancer Awareness month. "Interlink thinks pink" was an event designed to raise awareness of breast cancer within the company nationally, while at the same time raising money for the Imperial Cancer Research Fund. Not wishing to be left out, Interlink Express staff joined in by paying a rl to wear pink for the day. John Acton, the company's director of marketing, says: "This event marks the beginning of our partnership with Imperial Cancer Research Fund. We've pledged to match all money raised for the charity over the next year by employees, pound for pound." Good for them! As to wearing pink, I once recall buying Foden a pink dog collar, which the ungrateful mutt refused to be seen out in!
