• An inland port area covering 35 acres will be part of a £2m project at Didcot's new Milton Trading Estate due to be completed in 1975 which is to have what is described as the largest private rail link in the UK.
Warehousing will provide 400,000 sq ft capacity and in addition open storage for containers, cars and aggregates will cover 15 acres. Internal approach roads will cost £200,000 and the rail link area ,£250,000.
