• Major reductions of journey times have been announced by National Travel (NBC) Ltd. The improved services are part of revised timetables which will be introduced in the company's south-west area from September 30.
As an example, more than two hours are taken from the journey time between London and Exeter. A new service (number 704), routed via Bristol and the M4 will link London, Exeter and Plymouth.
