Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• New fourand five-speed gearboxes for the CF range and full underbody sealing for the HA vans are among specification improvements announced by Bedford for 1974.

The five-speed gearbox option makes use of ZF's all-synchromesh unit while the same manufacturer's four-speed unit is now being used as the standard transmission. The new option is available on the petrol-engined long-wheelbase models and is seen as being particularly suitable for the bus, express van and motor caravan applications.

At the same time the GM automatic transmission is also available on the heavier CFs. Previously these were only offered as an option on 18 and 22cwt models. On the 18cwt vehicle the three-speed gearbox has now been replaced by Bedford's own fourspeed all-synchromesh unit.

Front suspension has been strengthened on all models and plated axle weights increased on the 25 /35cwt vehicles. Electrical equipment has also been improved for 1974 and now included as standard are two-speed wipers, electric screen washers and four-way hazard flashers.

For the HA 6 and lOcwt light vans the same undersealing as provided on Vauxhall cars is now standard. In addition, six new acrylic colour options, including two metallics, are offered.
