Purfleet, Essex-based Kentvaie Transport has been formally warned to observe regulations on drivers' hours and tachographs and keep proper records.
The warning follows the Transport Tdbunal quashing of a decision by Eastern TC Geoffrey Simms (pictured) to cut its licence from 12 vehicles and 17 trailers to 10 vehicles and 15 trailers after being told it was impossible for the company to subcontract work.
Kentvale had been called before the TC after an analysis of its tachograph records showed a considerable amount of mileage was not accounted for.
