Renault completed its range renewal programme with the launch of two tippers featuring new cabs, new engines and revamped chassis. The Premium Lander is available as a 4x2, 6x2 and 6x4 rigid, and as a 4x2 and 6x4 tractor unit.
The cab is taken from the Premium long-haul and distribution range but respecced to suit the construction sector. Power comes from the DXi7 and DXi 11 engines rated from 240 to 450hp; transmission options include manual, automated and (Allison) automatic options.
The Kerax, like its predecessor, is aimed at the more rugged muckaway and demolition sector. It uses the Midlum cab, mounted higher on the chassis, and is available in rigid and tractor form covering with 4x2, 6x4 and 8x4 configurations. All-wheel-drive versions will come on line at the end of this year.
