• The founder of Rotherham based general haulier Gloystarne & Company is set to buy the business he has seen grow by at least a third since he sold it five years ago. Les Wilson sold the food and household products distributor to what was then known as British Tissues, because it had enough capital to expand Gloystarne.
Wilson was retained by British Tissues, now known as Jamont UK, as Gloystarne's managing director. Wilson set up Gloystarne about 20 years ago: it now operates approximately 160 trucks and more than 200 trailers from five depots.
