Around 110 drivers' jobs will be created by the opening of Wincanton Logistics new distribution centre in Middlesex.
Due to open in early August, the £30m base at the Innova Science Park, in Enfield Lock, will supply 230 Iceland food stores across the South-East. In total, 400 jobs will be created at the depot.
The firm will operate 64 tractive units from the site; it is holding three recruitment open days this week at Capel Manor Horticultural 8.. Environmental Centre, Enfield. On Friday 23 April and Saturday 24 April the day runs from 10:00-20:00hrs: on Sunday 25 April it will run from 10:00-16:00hrs.
Wincanton expects all the new jobs to be filled by next summer.
