• Croydonbased lain Buckley, trading as Palace Produce, was ordered to pay fines and costs totalling Z1,320, after admitting a series of drivers' hours and tachograph offences before Eastbourne magistrates.
Buckley, of Tait Road, Croydon, pleaded guilty to eight offences of failing to use a tachograph in accordance with the regulations, four of permitting drivers to exceed the daily driving period, and one of failing to produce tachograph records.
Buckley stated the offences occurred when his transport manager was leaving. He now has a new transport manager.
