• Owner-driver Mick Blunt, who had his truck vandalised in last October's Spanish hauliers' dispute, has been told he will not be compensated for the five months' earnings he lost. The Basque civil governor says that the internal ministry will probably pay for the damage, but not the time off the road as the repairs took an unnecessarily long time.
