• The Government is powerless to order tougher jail sentences for truck thieves, Foden managing director Rod Heather has been told.
Heather wrote to the Home Secretary expressing concern at the soft punishments awarded by a Manchester court to three men behind a £3,500 theft ring (CM 27 June-3 July).
