The Langdale VP4 pump illustrated is an axialpiston type; the heavy-duty pump currently being fitted to dumpers is the Langdale 2DR12 radial-piston unit. Wheelhub motors are available for automotive applications with torques up to 26,000 lb.ft. at 3,000 p.s.i.
