BroomWade has extended its range of air-cooled compressors with the introduction of the V-65A. This has a piston displacement of 88.4 cfm (2,5 rn3/ min) and a working pressure of 150 psi (10.4 bar) using a20 hp motor.
A feature of the machine is interstage cooling which is achieved by using a new design of inter-cooler. mounted over the flywheel. As a free-standing in
stallation, the compressor occupies 6 sq ft of floor space.
Designed to run at speeds up to 1800 rpm, the new compressor can be powered by any standard, direct coupled. 50 or 60 cycle three-phase electric motor and is available either as a
receiver mounted tinit, or as freestanding package mounted on three rubber feet. It has been specifically produced for the large garage or maintenance depot.
