THE SERPELL Report into the financing of British Rail is only of use to the heavy lorry supporters who wanted to turn rail tracks into roads, Shadow Transport Secretary, Albert Booth, has claimed.
Otherwise the report was a disaster for the country, and one which the Labour Party had no intention of adopting, he said.
